ok so i just wanted to let you guys know that ive been in kgj996 wrx before he started tuning and it was a beast then. well he took me for a spin in it yesterday and after tuning it himself that car has just come alive. easily hands down the hardest pulling wrx ive been in.
Kevin keep tuning man so i can copy your maps when i take that turbo off your hands.:rofl:

It's the way to go. Tune yourself.

Thanks man, I'm learning as I go but it is going good. It is still running rich as a pig too! After I tune my blow through set up, it should run sweet.:D
Hopefully more people here start to use open source so we can learn and share some useful info and no have to rely on expensive tuners. Thats my goal at least.

Is open source tuning an option with a mac?

not sure if the programs have mac editions, i don't think they do.
you can probably find an emulator.. but it might be a pain to setup.
if your mac is new enough you should just virtualize windows and install from there
method

Many programs are Java based, work fine on macs.
