So as the title sais, I traded my wrx for a new Nissan Pathfinder LE V8. So this means that the brand new parts that i have been putting off installing for 2 months now will be on sale. Will post them in the yard sale when i have a little more time. Someday i will own a subaru again, until then, good luck everyone.

They are okay vehicles. I have seen a few. Don't really care for them one way or they other.

Gas mileage is like death though lol.

GL with the pathfinder!

They hold their resale similar to the WRX :)

Not bad except for the pork sword you are going to get everytime you need gas.

They are not the worst on gas.

For a 5.6 dohc V8 15mpg is not complete garbage.

15 mpg is garbage. I get 30 and going to 15 would kill me, especially since i would be stopping more often and paying double. OMG, there must be a logical explaination.

This guy working at LMS with us, he drives an 08 GMC Yukon Denali, XLT. ****ing big suv. His reason for getting the vehicle is because he needs to carry his tools around...

his tool list.
2 briefcases with NASA stickers on them (he is a geek that programs the coordination of duct fans and system motors)
1 contains a laptop the other a cool little gas meter thinggy. And a pull along cart containing the most extensive collection of wirenuts and Fine threaded screws...

You, must have a better reason.

15 mpg isn't garbage when talking about an almost 350 cubic inch motor. It is actually not that bad. I, personally, couldn't deal with it with the amount I drive, but I think Ken is paying very little for gas, seeing how I think it is going to be his work vehicle. Either way, I am very upset to see Ken get rid of this. I have known him for about 9 years and he and Dungelman are the only two people from my town that share the same Suby passion as me. ****, I remember playing GT with Ken back in the day and both of us saying "I will have a WRX someday" ****, I remember how much we used to drool at them and wish we had them when taking burn rides past Belknap Subaru, or anytime we passed them on the road. All in all, this is a very sad moment for me, I will not lie.

For me, the thought of myself getting a truck or suv would kill me, gas price, cant autoX and its not fun to drive...i just would not be able to handle it.

u must make some good coin to rationalize that much gas

thnks method, your car is definately sharp too.

As far as the rationalization for the switch, here we go. Although i am definately not rich, I make enough money to get what i want usually. I have always loved the 5.6 motor from the nissan titan (obviously not for the gas mileage). When i found out that they were going to put that motor in the midsize pathfinder i liked it even more. I had an 06 Nissan Frontier V6 for my work truck(In my name) and liked the size and looks, which also got traded on this deal. Now I have a Titan for a work truck(in boss' name) because i live closest to the office and therefore use less gas than anyone else in my company. I have been looking at the srt 8 jeep cherokee also. The deal for the pathfinder was way better. My insurance went down a little instead of up a lot. I was offered a deal i couldnt refuse. Nobody was there to tell me not to. End of Story.

p.s. gas isnt so bad, i only drive maybe 50-100 miles a week, ive gotten an average of around 15.5 mpg in the first 75 miles. So all in all, the diff. between premium gas in the wrx, and the regular in the nissan +lowered insurance cost, wasnt enough to make me not want this truck. If that makes sense to anyone.

I had to post a pick of the ridiculous engine cover. Dont worry the removal will be my first mod.

I was hoping someone would chime in and point that out. At more than double the PSI of a N/A 2.5l, the turbo version burns twice the fuel (when boosting)

so our 2.5 liter, burns fuel like a 5.0l
