Nice, do you have a roll cage? I wasnt sure if it was required if you run faster than 13.

No roll cage yet. It is required to have a 6 point roll bar at 11.49 so it is next on my list of things to do.

Hopefully . Fast car yes, but it lacks greatly in the looks department. Certainly not something that's going to get the ladies heads to turn.

Congrats at import wars.

Congrats at import wars.

not everyone is into blingy cars. unless your looking for some whores you really don't want a girl to like you for your car.

my gf hates my car

on a side note. I didn't think these cars could be that fast on the stock trans
good job man

I'm not saying blingy, I'm saying that model year isn't exactly the greatest look eclipse style ever made lolz.

My girl likes how my car looks, she's more into her malibu, but she says that my car is certainly a good looking car and she's no whore. Perhaps you need to upgrade to the next model year girlfriend?

sleeper ftw:devil:

As a daily driver car you should be sure to make it something both pleasing to your eyes and perform to your wishes. If this is what Nick S's idea of that is, then cool.

Something tells me that Nick didn't build this car as a sleeper since he seems to be a dragway person and not a "school zone awesome street racer", which I respect.

I've found 2 types of people own sleepers, one is someone is happy with the stock look of the vehicle, the other just wants to show off in street racing. Those who are number 1 are cool in my book, I usually walk away laughing at those who are better described as number 2.

The second generation eclipses have 7 bolt engines that tend to crank walk and weigh a lot more than the first generation cars do.

good job manNeither did I. I only paid $100 dollars for the transmission off of a guy who said he didn't know if it worked or not cause he got it out of a junkyard car.

I figured I'd have a core to have rebuilt either way so I bought it put it in just to see if it would shift okay and it has been working great.

Usually the center diffs break once you start doing 12s but I've been very lucky. (we have 2 spyder diffs unlike you subaru guys with 4 spyders.)

I will be putting in a 4 spyder diff with the roll cage.
