I had never heard of it before my GF pointed it out...
It is a pretty good movie if your into well directed non-love story/non-action/comedy.
It gives you pretty good insight to the changes in Afghanistan during the early 70's to the 2000's.
One of the cool things the movie touches on is how the Taliban took control of the country and how they defeated teh soviets.
It basically all takes place pre-9/11.
I'd recommend as a date movie that you will both enjoy :)
