Top Gear, a few years back, bought a late '80s Toyota Hilux(PickUp) 2.4 nonturbo diesel. Rusty, 190k miles, your average British farm truck. The challenge? Kill it. 20 minutes of cracking video here. I watched this several years ago and had been searching for it since. Enjoy.

Ditto. Make mine a turbo diesel. I know they were available in the US, as well as a turbo gasser, though I don't know in what quantity or what trim levels. A coworker just bought a solid '92 Toyota Xcab for $300 and is exploring Toyota swaps to replace the tired 22RE and IFS. This makes me want to suggest a diesel in the worst way.

I want to burn fryolator oil.
Mostly because I am cheap, but it would be really funny to be stuck in traffic and make everyone behind me hungry. lol

lol Well, veggie fuel would take some time to make at home, though given ethynol(I think that's the other ingredient) prices, ~$1.10 a gallon or less is pretty sweet.
