Well as many of you know i am in the coast guard and stationed in portsmouth and have been here for a year and a half now. I just moved up in rank which caused me to pretty much screw myself, I was told that i could stay at the station even if i advanced but turns out that there is a shortage of Machinery Technicians. I'm going to Quad cities on the Mississippi river otherwise known as Davenport Iowa. So far my coast guard career has been insane , this will be my 5th unit in 6 years. Well the job is supposed to be for 4 years but my enlistment ends in 2 , when i will get out and go into the reserves. I will be moving in late June but will be moving back up here in New England when my enlistment ends. I just wanted to let everyone know.

I will be back its just going to be a couple of years, I'm a New Englander through and through. I'm pretty much incompatable with the rest of the country anyways.

Well that sucks that you're taking off. Look me up in Global and keep in touch (Nicholas Predko in Global). I'll be up here until my enlistment is up and then I'll be a reservist too. I've done 3 units and 2 training centers in 2.5 years so I know how it feels.
