First of all we'd like to thank the admins here at SCS for giving us our own sub-forum. This will allow us to bring you news and updates. Keep an eye on this sub-forum for new part announcements, group buys, package deals, sales and much, much more!
This leads right into the second part of the news. My name is Nick and I recently joined the team over at Exeter Subaru in New Hampshire. If you weren't aware, Exeter Subaru runs SubaruWRXparts.com. They were one of the first names in the game for providing parts to the whole range of Subaru owners and enthusiasts.
In addition to helping out with the day to day activities in the parts department at Exeter Subaru, I'll be taking the lead on SubaruWRXparts.com. I have owned and worked on my own Subarus for nearly 6 years now. During these past 6 years I've been active in whatever local subaru community that I lived nearest to, including the Bay Area community in San Fran, the Mid-Atlantic community in D.C., and now the New England community. I've been a member of multiple forums, including this one, under the name TrickyDik. Many of you already know me, while this is my first introduction to others.
My plans are to bring more activity to SubaruWRXparts.com. What this means to you is faster response times for questions, daily updates about our stock levels, new part introductions, group buys, package deals, sales and more! If you're a local member then you're in a unique position since I make it out to nearly every meet SCS has. Please feel free to come up to me with any question you have. But don't feel left out if you aren't local :), I'll give you an equal share of my attention in order to help you out whether you're looking for OEM replacement parts, aftermarket parts or a specialty part that we may have a lead on.
I've already started providing parts to some of you and the feedback has been nothing but positive. If you have any suggestions to help us better serve you please mention it in this thread or by PM. I'll take suggestions on what part lines you'd like to see us carry, any problems you've had in the past, or anything that is on your mind that you'd like to share.
Thanks again and I look forward to working for and with many of you,
Nick
