falken azenis Potenza 225/45/17
Azenis Potenzas?! Those must be sticky as hell... I dig the Mill pics; Commercial St. in Manch? Looking damn good.
Specs on the carputer?
f1vlad
03-28-2007, 04:22 PM
Yeap, thanks, that's in Manchester.
Carputer is complicated, check specs here: http://f1vlad.com/wrxtear/carputer/
Potenza's are real sticky, STi once. However, I like Falken Azenis better.

Seriously, I guess I've only seen ghetto carputers before. Sounds like you went all out for a seamless, efficient install.

have you gotten yelled at or anything for your front plate?
f1vlad
04-02-2007, 12:38 PM
Not really. It's kinda bent, scratchs and everything. You can see plate #. I don't think they care. They care about tint the most. When they see medical waiver they just let me go.
2mprzya
04-02-2007, 12:47 PM
thats cool. i heard the medical waiver was pretty hard to get. who did you get yours from?
theres nothing like a black subie tinted all the way around.
f1vlad
04-02-2007, 12:51 PM
Affirmative on 'hard to get'. I would say hard to impossible. It's a long story, man, I will tell you the saga at one of our meets. I don't want to post on the forum because it involves the story of the fight with the state organization. So I'd rather say in private.

It pained me to have the 35% removed from the d&p doors when I got my car. I did not want to deal with the waiver.

It even looks good in winter trim. What are you using for mudflaps?
f1vlad
04-06-2007, 09:45 AM
The flaps are made of high density polyethylene (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_density_polyethylene), they're too hard for my liking if you ask me. My friend makes these in his shop and we sell on ebay. Can give you special if you're interested :)

Deals are good! Dunno if his stuff would fit a SF-body Forester, but you never know... doesn't look too far off. That being said, I'd love to provide my car as a fitment guinea pig. I even thought about contacting Fastline Auto to see if they'd do it.
I searched for "mudflap" on ebay to see if I could find your buddies product there, and I didn't. But... I did find this.:)

Vlad where did you get your car tinted? I am thinkin about doing that soon. also, did you have to get the ok to get the front windows tinted as well? I am pretty sure in NH you can only do the back and rear door windows...let me know...
Nate8409
04-09-2007, 06:40 PM
Yup. In NH they say no tint on the fronts.
here is a nifty site too
http://www.tintdude.com/laws.html
f1vlad
04-09-2007, 08:12 PM
Yes that site Nate gave is great for tips how to tint yourself. I can tint myself. But my Subaru I did professionally at nhsolarcontrol.com. They will not tint fronts until you show them permission from DOT.

Ya, I have checked that site out....I figured thats what it took. My parents just hooked me up with insurance again. They claimed me as an employee and hooked it up! So ill be going to the optometrist soon and hopefully be leaving with an ok from him!

I suggest tinting at this place:
http://www.car-risma.com/ -- I've tinted two cars before Subaru there and job done is superb.

Sold it for an STi.
Actually, he sold it for an '08 WRX hatch... which he then sold for the STi.

First he buys a TR, then he buys an 08, then he finally smartens up and buys a decent subaru; 06 STi
