reposted from nesic. i dont feel like re-typing all of this.

ive gotten the "official notice of violation"

apparently working on my car IN my garage is considered "noxious or annoying"

they cited me on 3 or 4 violations. the only one they've TECHNICALLY got me on is storage of flammable/explosive materials (couple propane torches, and a 40gallon Acetelyne torch....and that's getting moved probably tonight).

im waiting for the chairman of the townhouse council to get home tonight. i have (IN WRITING) permission from him from 6 weeks ago to repair my car (he knows the engine was being replaced, and the car would be out of commission for 6-8 weeks). if he tries to weasel his way out of it....i'm DONE with them. no more being nice (i did his wifes brakes for him, for nothing. saved his stupid *** about $200 in labor, on top of the belts i replaced for him when her car died, and the multitude of times ive taken his trash out for him (and a couple others) when they asked me to (out of town, vacation, whatever).

im done being nice to these people. we now own (passing papers in a couple weeks) a 10k sq.ft plot in saugus, and construction begins probably mid-may.

i need "legal" ideas on how i can be a complete jackass from here on out. ive tried my best to be considerate of my neighbors, to offer help when its needed, and avoid being a nuisance. obviously my attempts were futile.

stay tuned for volunteer work? (who wants to help do some sheetrocking/painting/etc when the house is built? we've got a really good framing crew who claims teh shell will be up and sided, windows installed in <5weeks, obviously im doing the electrical, and HVAC, and ive already got a plumber and a pipefitter. the rest is gonna be mostly sheetrocking and light carpentry. experience is a plus. food will DEFINITELY be provided (no beer, sorry dudes, too much liability with power tools around). nothing really glorious for work either lol. mostly gonna be the work no one likes to do (the tedious time consuming stuff...like sheetrockings, taping/plastering joints, painting, etc)

but....the faster we get it done, the faster i can move in, and the faster i get to throw everyone a BBQ!

That sounds like fun to me! I helped on the Extreme Makeover house in Wells, so what's one more house to help on!

I'm down for it, let me know when and where :)

Sorry hun, no Ty or TV crew this time... just a bunch of sweaty Subaru lovers. :D

Keep us updated, Jeff. I'll be more than willing to give you a hand on finishing work.

I can probably help, however I have no skills that would help in building a house.

As usual, this is based only on the fact that I have that particular day(s) off from work.
