MERRIMACK - Newick's Hospitality Group Inc. announced yesterday that it would be closing both its Merrimack and South Portland, Maine, restaurants as of May 21. Only the company's main restaurant in Dover will remain.

At least the Dover one will stay open.

I just heard that on the radio this morning and was going to mention it on here.

I guess that's not too bad; the original was always the best. I don't remember much about the other locations, other than the old N. Hampton location was very lacking in comparison.

I grew up in Merrimack and ate there a million times....

In fact, One of my good friends works there and if he loses his job he loses his medical insurance and this could cause him to go blind. I feel really bad for him....

Shame... I remember watching it get built.
