View Full Version : paintbooth / makeshift paintbooth...something?!

I'm painting a trim piece and finished it yesterday, however it fell while drying and it was dusty so I had to wetstand and start over. I'm trying to combat the dust problem. Anyone want to lend a hand in a paintbooth or makeshift paintbooth? It is only a small trim piece and I have all the paint etc. I just need a semi-dust free environment to do it in.

I have a paintbooth setup down back in our workshop. But it is is Belmont.

Really? I have the paintscratch inc spray can stuff. how much for you to do it? you any good?? ;)

I paint airplanes professionally and custom bikes and small car stuff on the side.;)

Thanks man...I have the primer, base, and clear from paintscratch and sandpaper if needed. it came out good when i did it but like I said in op the dust was a problem. It's only a small strip, maybe 3-4 wide by 2.5ft long in the shape of an L. So I wetsanded it down to fix the issues, but it went through color and everything. I can drop off hte stuff sometime sunday or monday to you...im in the tradeport anyway.

Hey, I just got back to NH, unfortunetly not in Dover yet. If 2-3 hours from now is too late to meet up could I meet up with you Tomorrow?

If you don't mind dropping it off at my place,tonight is fine. I've been drinking since 2:30 so I shouldn't drive.:lol:
