haha ya, I finally finished my roof project so now I could start up on this one:) I'll be taking out that small turbo this weekend, gotta make room! I'm also going to test mount both intercoolers I've got to see if one of them will fit in the grill.

ya I was supprised how big it was when I opened the box, they sent me a different fm kit than what was in the picture when I bought it:unamused: so as you can see I had to make it fit:lol: it fits:)

And heres what I did before the meet in 2 1/2 hours, took off the fmic, intake, turbo inlet, coolant thingy, intake manifold, injectors, fuel rail, tumblers, batterie, washer tank, misc. hose and wires, and ya now it looks really funny look'n!! I allways forget how low the motor sits haha.

and ya, the turbos still in mint shape so its going up for sale, keep an eye out for the f/s thread...

Thats a nice kit. I was looking at the one from cooling mist. I was thinking about it because the intercooler I bought comes pre drilled for the injection nozzles :)

Well, I found the turbo I NEED so I'm trying to push these parts I've got forsale. I'll update everyone if/when I pick it up. after that I just need to get the v44 tail wastegate, oil lines, coolant lines, misc stuff, then on to the Reversed Intake Manifold:D then the custom piping for the r.i.m. with the intercooler infront of the upper grill for SUPER short piping:spin:
now this is when it gets interesting, the custom work:) as you know, I'm selling off my jdm fogs and going with a different look. I've come to realize that my car is not a show car so I'm going balls out for more power:devil: and I know I'm going to break something very soon and everyone knows what that means...UPGRADE:lol: I'm allways on the lookout for a decent priced sti tranny or sti 2.5 block:munch:

I'm still trying to figure out what water/meth kit to go with because I'm shooting for 350whp as my goal... and I'm doing the DIY fuel rail mod aswell so that one of the injectors doesn't get starved for fuel.

well, the subaru wrx car cover will be here on Tuesday:) its one of the pricey expensive ones that fit the impreza like a ****'n glove so I can't wait to get it, clean up the rex and slip that ***** on:D
plus when its summer time and the cars under it parked in the driveway, people will be like "wow wtf's under that car cover? I bet you its a 400whp monster" and I will laugh and be like "yep":lol:
I'm also going to Springfield MA on sunday to pick up the Perrin Cold Air Intake for my gt30r setup:D and of course, its a good deal:eek:

I'll have pics up once I recieve everything:)

Well, I'm starting the reversed mount intake manifold now! I just ordered some of the needed parts from subaruwrxparts.com:devil: gaskets and what not plus some of the Kartboy exhaust hangers, the extended ones:spin: and I also just ordered the Phenolic Thermal spacers with the exteded bolts:cool:
so things are starting to happen!! I'm thinking I'll be putting up the Front Mount within a few days, I'm also thinking of putting up the 5x100 BBS wheels up for sale... I'm looking at some other wheels now but I'm still not sure what I wanna do:unamused: I'm going for a different look now so we'll see:lol:

Are you thinking only 1 fan because of your intercooler?

the piping is going to come down inbetween the motor and the radiator to the right side of the car (if you're facing it head on)

I'm picking up the Perrin CAI for my rotated setup this saturday down in CT:spin:
I'm also picking up the 2.5 sti block sometime this week aswell:D
and all my parts should be coming in the mail/ups during the middle of the week so I'll be getting back to the porting of the tgv's I guess:lol:
along with that I'll be mounting up the new fmic core in the new spot and trying to figure out what silicone piping I'll be needing so keep an eye out for updates:spin:

from what I've researched it doesn't have any negitive effects.
with the intercooler infront of the radiator, the air will pass through the intercooler and then through the radiator. plus with the fan(or fans), the air will be pulled through it when the cars sitting.
and in the end, the intercoolers not getting heatsoaked by a turbo thats sitting just below it like in the stock location.

well you havn't really missed that much. I'm getting in all the parts I've ordered just havn't put stuff back together yet...and I won't be doing that for a while becaust I've decided to do the work to the sti block that I'm buying from STInate.
the blocks getting some new parts thanks to subaruwrxparts.com once I figure out whats needed then the sti block is going in so I can TURN UP THE BOOST:devil:
I'm also getting myself an early birthday present and buying a harness bar and harness's from another member so my car will atleast look fast:lol:...:rofl:
also, I've pretty much got the bbs wheels sold so I'll be ordering some new wheels hopefully by the end of next week aswell:)

thats actually where I normally go:) I went to epping a few times last year but I had some issues with my tuning so I didn't go as many times as I wanted:( My first goal of the year is to do 12.5 or faster:)
I usually enter my car at the Import Wars events, I run in the Run Only class. at the last import wars I was the 2nd fastest subie racing(but there wern't that many runing:() I love running faster times than modded STIs:D but there was a white 06-07 that I was lined up against, hes the one that spanked me:o by half a second...

funny thing happened to Pat and I when we were on our way back from the Legends meet. we stopped to get gas in Keene at 1:00am and after I finished fill'n up pat was checking out the block more closely in the bed of the truck. Some rent-a-cop comes over to see what Pats looking at in the back of the truck right. didn't take the rings off just yet but I did take a piece of the ringland off:lol: I was looking at it and saw a few cracks so I put some pressure on it with my finger and it moved, I was like:wtf: so I slid it a lil more and then pulled it out:lol::unamused::(

well, I just braved the cold and installed the harness bar :D fitment was great and its actually right where I like having the seat so it doesn't restrick movement needed for comfort:)

I actually havn't anchored the lap harnesses yet but they're going to be mounted from the seat buckle mount on the side of the seat and also from the bottom mount of the b pillar I think. it was getting way too cold for me to finish up:lol: winter FTL:unamused:

Yeah, they really do hold you well, especially for a skinny bastered like me. The v7 jdm seats in blue are even narrower, but mine are more comfy :)
