and now I feel guilty. I always feel this way after I beat on it. But boy was it fun!!! I had the pulse racing, and I was even starting to sweat!
Do you feel the same way when you go out for a thrashing session?

What did ya do exactly? Nothing wrong with giving the car a little of what it was designed for. :)

I suppose the abuse was of the normal variety...however, I made 1 shifting error that made me nervous ....but, it is running smooth as buttah, so, I'm not really stressing about it any more.

Ya, no worries, I have made many shifting errors before, and a couple on the autox course, dont worry, shell hold up to a lot of abuse. A bad shift here and there wont kill it.
I know shes your new baby and I get why you feel that way, btw. :)

They should make a closed course designed for blowing off steam. Oh wait...thats RALLY!!! Always fun to go out and have fun man. I agree.

I kinda think i need to get into autocross....:D
And likely will soon...maybe this summer I could help out at some of your events. Are they SCCA?

Nope, SCCNH (http://www.sccnh.org), small group. Come in early when we do, enlist as a volunteer. Meet people, talk to them, watch and learn. I went and spectated an event before I decided to enter. My only warning, its addictive, and you will start picking apart everything of your car that you need to make better/faster. Only thing is, you have a much better platform to start with then I did! I will get you hooked, just wait. :)

+1 to what Murph said. I have seen guys that are on stock suspension stuffing 285 slicks with no rubbing. GR chassis is definitely better.
