Spare Keys

I just need a lil info on getting myself a spare key. I was leaving a friends house yesterday and fell down his icy stairs causing my keys to fall out of my pocket while it was still snowing and I didnt notcie until like 2 hours later that my keys were missing(they are my only ones) luckely though i was able to find them after some hard searching so before this happens again I need to get myself a spare key.

what year, i think 04 and up they have chips in sti models, outbacks and forrrrestrs. Wrx's and imprezas no.
