Hey, I figured I'd give a more proper introduction.

My name is Jeremy Brown. Friends and family call me Jerry. I have no idea why.
I hang out with the VTboost crowd every now and then. I found this site through justin on myspace. I've been lurking in the shadows for some time now.
I build Vws and Chevys. Not subarus; however, I have nothing against subarus.

Here's some of my projects.

1- 1988 Vw Golf VR6
HX35W Cummins Deisel Turbo Kit
(Currently been looking for an awd set up)

I bought this old pile for $250. It was missing wheels, cradles, suspention, front fenders, interior, wiring, fuse box, gas tank, etc etc etc and the rear hatch when I picked it up.

CAUTION: You are about to be bombed with pictures.

2- 1990 Corrado G60
Being converted to a rear engine rwd 2.8L Vr6 (obdII) car.

Hopefully I don't get flamed too bad for posting this on a subaru site. I'll leave my chevys out of the equation.

I have been into VW for awhile. I had a '91 VW jetta... dad owned it from the lot and he gave it to me... I also had a '92 alpine white gti with a red and blue stripe running down the car, and xhair halo headlights. I traded a dirtbike for it hahaha... 16v, fun car... now being parted out on Dubsnorth.org :( sad
That car looks great!!
I always wanted to stuff a northstar into a mk2...

I can always use help. Wanna give me money too?? j/k. If I had about $2,000-$3,000 I could probably complete the project.

(Yes, a decal for the shaved hatch. I am also looking for a "I'd rather be cummin, than strokin'" decal for the rear window.

I started putting the engine back together:

8.6:1 head spacer. I'm thinking 18-20 psi.

Awesome! Don't be timid with us Su BA rOoau guys. Those of us who know a little something about cars can appreciate all makes and models out there.

None of us would flame you for having any kind of car on this site. Even if you had a Civic which everyone hates. At least I would not flame ya Hahaha

Haha agreed. All kinds are welcome, although if you had a civic you might get ragged on a little but still no flaming haha.

So... Can any of you subaru guys weld aluminum well? I have a manifold that needs to be modified. I chopped a VR6 stock manifold and now I need to change the angle of the throttle body. It hits the Turbo for some off reason. I can't beleive it touches that tiny little thing.

Made my 4" maf housing.
Got a pipe from advance to set the housing in, then a 4" exhaust pipe from reed trucking.

I put a flange on the top to bolt to. I'm going to paint it black. Will take a pic of the finished product. Total cost = $6.00 and... one worn out hole saw.

Still need to find someone who can weld aluminum
