So I've been busy. I cleared the headlights and added red parking lights. I also added red rear blinkers. Inside, I back lit the OEM gauges red and put in a new Alpine LCD headunit!

Glad you went for OEM Subaru guage pod, I love it the best. I don't like those after market ones.

I have the same except for now only one gauge -- boost, couldn't justify spending hundreds for other gauges at the time.

i'd do the gauge bezel pod if i were you jack. the apillers are already pretty thick, its a huge blind spot with gauges.

the pillar gauges suck. they get in the way and it feels your gonna hit them with your hand when turning. other then that look a little ricey.

i did it all myself.

and the blue light is the blinker... it's actually not blue it's white but in order for regular light bulbs to match the xenon white, it has to be coated blue. it looks identical in color to the angel eye + side marker when it's on.

next step thou is LED blinkers.. i was hesitatnt cause i didnt wnat to mess with a low voltage flasher

they can go as low or high as you want. When I put them on, the tops of the wheels weren't visible :-X

after the wheels started rubbing on the fender I decided I can bring them up a bit lol

i actually did quite the job on mine. I ordered a Subaru OEM fog light switch and spliced the wire coming out of that. I wired the lighting into the main dash fading relay, then wired a power wire through the firewall and spliced it into parking light power. Then I wired the 'go' to the positive on the angels and the negative to any old ground.

Took me half a day but it works great! If you leave the fog light switch on, then they are on whenever the parking lights or on. but, I also have the ability to control them separately so it's a good deal! Worth teh work if you know what you're doing with wiring.

yea if you want to do it that way, i'd just tap into the parking light like the original DIY suggests. That's the easiest and most sensible.
