If you have a pair you have lying around I recommend you put them in your 2.2. Has to be a phase 2 2.2 though. Nice gains on the SOP dyno. I guess if I were staying NA I would spend the 200 on Deltas and install those. but.... :spin: :spin: :spin: :spin: :spin: :spin:

my 2.2 is single port :(
Maybe a 2.5 into the OBS is better

According to my parts catalog, 12/97 - 11/00 should be phase 2 2.2l. My phase 2 is single port. I don't plan on dynoing because I plan on going turbo and it would be a waste of money. But it def pulls harder mid to high it seems. Again, that is the SOP dyno.

phase 2 dual port right? mine was built 9/96 and its single port...

cant wait to get rid of the ej22ez, the cable tranny, the rear drums, basically everything that makes it an L :lol:...

<---- needs 03 OB H6 donar sooner than later, tranny feels like its about to fall out :unamused:

if only i wasnt selling my car.... i never knew the 2.5 cams fit in the 2.2 heads. i thought about buying deltas and giving it a try but never did

Why not you guys? It is pretty easy to do. And for the outcome it is def worth it.
