not worth it. pay the ticket and find an insurance company with violation forgiveness like LM

I disagree, I drive for a living and a 6 point hit on my license along with the possibility of losing my license for up to 90 days is very well worth it.

Not that I have disposable income, but when it comes to me saving my job, I can free up $800. Plus the fine can be up to $500, whats another $300 to make it go away?

Yup, well worth it.

Very good reasoning.

i assume this isnt ur first speeding ticket if there is a possibility of losing ur license

My driving record is clean. No tickets in almost 6 years. It's called aggrivated speeding. The state CAN take you license for that.

Oh, and thanks for laughing. eventhough, you assumed I have a dirty driving record.

how fast were you going? i got pulled over for 19 over and got a 115$ fine. i have never heard of $500+ for a speeding ticket.

also, i have never heard of anyone losing their license for a first time speeding offense unless they are under 21.

of course... there is always a first for everything. goodluck with your day in court. i represented myself in my last trail in MA and got out of it.

I didnt mean to laugh at your misfortune. I apologize if you interprettted it that way.

when you get a ticket for 26+ over the speed limit, it becomes a whole new ball game. $300-$500 fine, loss of license

Yeah, it was 34 over, right? This was my biggest speeding ticket, at 20mph over, but the least costly at $100. ****ing Massachusetts.

I can provide experience to it. I couldn't fight my last one really. Cop could have arrested me and impounded my car for my last one. Cop said he was doing 110 to catch up to me(Pst... I hit 115-120) No tickets for like 3 years. He decided to write it for 86. Smart bastard knew it would be bad to try to fight against him "being nice". ****ing $350 for +26.

You probably would have gotten away with fighting that. Especially if the LEO admitted to doing 110 to catch up to you, chances are he would be in deep **** with his Sargent if he found out about that bit.
