Car and Driver **** all over it because it basically drives itself, its not even available in a manual transmission. They said DD its a great car but the R34 dunks all over it.

I have to disagree.

0-60 in 3.5, navy, traction control, launch control... I just had an accident :(

0-60 in 3.5, with launch control? i was told using it on these voids any warranty on the transmission... come on, $80k and you cant use it. fail.

i would never ever buy a brand-new car that comes with options that if used void warranty, just me

yea wasn't it you eric that was telling me about how if you use launch control on these cars it mess's the tranny up badly after 10 uses and it voids the warrenty?

GC4-RS

apparently it doesnt even have to be 10x, if something goes wrong with the tranny and they use diagnostic tools to find the problem, if they see you have used the launch control at all, they wash their hands...

which is just bs... Why the hell would you sell a car with a option that your not suppose to use?

Thats like giving a fat kid a candy bar telling him not to eat it.

I saw one at a nissan dealsership today... in Rockingham on 97 I think. It was red. I drooled. :D

If money was falling from the sky, I might buy one.... but more than likely I would go find a nice R34 that Motorex had brought in back when they still could.

Too true. There's some Youtube Best Motoring videos of the R35 vs. Porsche's, Ferrari's, BMW's, etc. The guy in the GT-R looks like he could just be driving to work in the morning, while every other driver is actually driving and communicating with their cars.

I'd probably fall asleep driving a new GT-R.

I don't really even like the way these look. The front end looks busted to me. I like the r34 better for looks and purity. I would rather have a cheaper car with 30 grand in upgrades :)

So... transmission = flawed = no more launch control in new models because = $20k for a new transmission that Nissan was denying as warranty for a single use of launch control. I've spent some time on the GTR forums :ninja:

Yea 1 Traction control launch on these and warranty is gone. after 3, many report from clunking in the transmission to total disintegration. For 80k+ that tranny better hold up to 1k hp to all wheels...

I'm waiting to park next to him and see if he moves his car like he did the other day when those kids wouldn't stop walking around it and looking in

i was never a fan of skylines. I think its the whole video game thing, how the skyline is superior to any and all cars in the game... Is it just me or did anyone else notice?

skyline = 'id buy that for a dollar", not a penny more.
