You painted the calipers while they were on the car?
Nice.
I need Russel to take some nice pro pictures of my car sometime. My photography skills are FTL!

LOL... the paint kit I got was brush on, so there was no need to remove the calipers. 2 part reactor paint FTW! It is great stuff.
I am sure Russell would love to take pics of your car. The first pic he took was right before a huge t-storm. Hopefully he can do some this weekend or something.

Yea I'll have to talk to him sometime and maybe find some free time for him and I to meet up. I am getting my car detailed next Friday so maybe if you guys come over for the meet at my place (the 15th) he could bring his camera.
Where'd you get the kit?

Russell got it for my birthday. It works great! Plus it is heat resistant to like 950 degrees or something. I used it on my front badge too.

Since you're looking for suggestions, I guess I'll ask questions.:) You wanted an opinion as to white or gold wheels. Do you plan on using rims for competition or street use? Street: gold, race: white. (I have a soft spot for 16x8 and 17x8 white Rota Slipstreams)

Dont go White on the wheels, you need the contrast. Stay Hyper Silver or go darker possibly.
If you really want to run with the PINK and WHITE theme, dont go to radical on the wheels, I dont think Gold would go well with pink and white.
You could paint your Badges Pink !!

Might be awesome?? Depends on the wheels.

No theres nothing wrong with Gold. There is also nothing wrong with Gold and White.
BUT, there is something wrong with Gold, White, and Pink.

She needs charcoal wheels.
Those look best with white IMHO

I would say a good dark color wheel or gold will look best, the gold might contrast w/ the calipers way too much.

Yes, and Yes.
Definitely consider the badge idea though, or at least get a spare badge to play around with, if your sticking with that scheme.

I did get my front badge painted the same pink as my brakes. It was really easy and the paint has lasted very well.
As for wheels, I have decided to go for a set of 06-07 WRX 17" stockers. I think they'd look really good once I lower my car as well. They look clean, and would really set off the pink brakes, without being too crazy or expensive for that matter.
Speaking of which, who has a set they are willing to sell me for a good price?

Yes that would look very classy, and set off the Pink nicely. I like those wheels alot. If your front is Pink, you gotta match the rear !

I'd love to sell off my stockers but they will be used as my winter wheels.

agreed, but color wise it doesn't clash as much as I thought it would

Looks good! I might think about goldies later on, but I think my best bet is a set of 17" WRX stockers. I'm too poor to afford anything else.

The Hello Kitty STI badge was a gift from my wonderful b/f for my birthday, along with the brake paint ~bounce~
I think he got it on Ebay... you can check there.
I agree with the gold the more i think about it. I think a hyper silver or white would look best. Or maybe dark rims once I can afford it.

Cool thanks Im looking for the rx8 one so I'll check it out.
I would def go with the dark wheel you will hate white ones after a while. Keeping them clean will suck

Not a fan of gold on cars. Bring it...
But really, I don't think gold wheels look good on subarus. Just not my cup of tea.

They sell any of that wheelskin caliper paint around here or can you only order it online? I'm upgrading to Brembos eventually, but some stock red calipers would look cool right now.
