Today there was a car show at the Rochester Fairgrounds put together by the Granite State Street Rodders. It was a fundraiser for the fund of one of their active members that recently passed away. There was a lot of the usual muscle car/hotrod things, but I'm more amused by the different stuff. Though you lot might like a few pics.
This one had "turbo" spray painted all over it, but unconfirmed. There was a big pipe underneath. Of course, it's an automatic.

That Evo and Eclipse were at the car show in exeter on Saturday. Both one in there classes. Don't care much for the eclipse but the evo is pure sex.

My nod goes to the Toyota and that white Dart/Valient. EVO is ok, but too much "show", Eclipse is horrid.
Has George changed the truck at all since he got it? I don't remember it looking that good. We need to get up there to wrench on the cars soon... though... you'll be living there.:)

Apparently they Eclipse & Evo are both owned by the same dude from the Velocity Car Club (http://www.velocitycarclub.net). I'm not a fan of the F&F style but good on the group for making their own club.
An older guy at the show asked me if the Eclipse is a Delorean. :D

I just puked a little in my mouth when I saw the Evo. Cars are the hotness with body kits and stock rims.
On a side note - was this posted anywhere? I was bored as hell yesterday and would definitely have gone to this.

I didn't like the interior of the evo but the exterior was pretty cool. No more rice/F&F then some of the cars I see on NASIOC.

Well, I'll withhold full judgement since I am not looking at the car in person... I am fair like that.

Nope, it's pretty much the same. It may have not had the top part of the hood when you first saw it.

Not on any of "our" sites. We heard about it from my father in-law since he showed his car. There are a *ton* of local hotrod meets. There's an updated list at www.ducks32.com (http://www.ducks32.com).

Agreed. I don't like those cars either.

Either it just looks good in sun or that color is growing on me... but I don't hate that evil 1990 purple anymore. Then again, I've never seen the truck in person.:)

I see this guy in my neighborhood quite a bit, and his car is slow

I see him around a lot too.. But how can that car be slow? Or does he drive like an old man? He looks like he's enjoyed one too many paninis. :)
