Are you saying it might cause some paint issues? I may have access to a heated garage. I've also seen people recommend using a heat gun before rolling fenders, and I've got one of those as well.

Well I rub kind of badly, and I wanted to roll the fenders before I get one of my rear quarters resprayed, which I need to have done very soon.

Maybe I will just change out these S-Techs to something that isn't so low.

You're right, having it done by someone experienced is probably the best idea. Either way I'm going to put on some WRX or STi springs before winter and raise the car up a bit, these tein s-techs are awful IMO. So hopefully I don't even have to roll the fenders.

I double checked everything immediately afterwards, but nothing appeared open, maybe the sunroof was an issue.

Today I didn't run into any issues. The car was also dry overnight. So maybe I just didn't close a door all the way or something.

Just got a call from the body shop, apparently the minor paint damage I was having fixed is the result of someone doing a poor job repairing the quarter panel years ago. Now I'm being told it isn't worth repairing the "damage" that is possibly done to the frame. Great way to start the day.

They seem trustworthy, but I guess I just don't know enough about auto body to be sure.

They told me the quarter panel was replaced due to an accident (I knew the car was in an accident, but it wasn't totaled so I didn't think it was too bad of an impact). So they told me the replacement quarter panel was pop-riveted on or something, and that it needs to be replaced, and there there is potentially damage to the unibody.

I'm picking the car up friday morning, but they weren't able to tell me if there was any actual unibody damage or not. And I have no way to figure it out myself.

I'll probably just drive it for a while, and maybe swap to a new shell this summer if the damage isn't reparable.

I ended up talking to the previous owner who had the car on an alignment rack for countless hours and assured me it was straight. So I'm going to give the body shop that Ed posted a call soon and see if they can confirm that for me and just replace the quarter panel.

Not too much. Did a 9am-11pm install day on Sat. Installed a 20g, fmic, 850 cc injectors and 255 fuel pump on an LGT. Had several issues which is why it took so darn long. oh and called pulski at 9:15 to help walk us thru how to flash using open source. I guess it would be an install day without issues tho! haha

nope... The stock turbo inlet was not lining up correctly with the turbo... Seriously worked on it for an hour and a half maybe 2 hours. Had to modify the inlet to work for now... He will be ordering an aftermarket one since we are worried the stock one may rip. Then we had intake issues... the spt intake for the leggy's is suppose to fit with a fmic. No way. So luckily my buddy had an extra WRX SPT intake that worked like a charm. Then what was suppose to be a bolt on the WBR FMIC just seemed to take forever getting installed and oriented correctly..
