Navigation GPS If you have a LGT w/NAVI and want to be able to input info while on the move follow this link http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63678&highlight=navi very easy to do and makes the Nav more usable. I did it to mine today and it took all of 10 minutes.

I'm telling you, it's very easy and makes the nav better to use. I'm not planning on trying to enter things when I'm driving but there is no reason a passenger shoulgn't be able to when the car is moving. IMO they should have enabled input when the passenger seat is occupied by linking it up with the air bag sensors in the passenger seat.

I used a 6 inch piece of 18 gauge wire and just stuck it in the empty slot shown in the thread and then grounded it to a screw on the nav unit's bracket. Worked on the first try.

I wanna do the other hack to hook up a video player to the Aux Port and watch movies and stuff

That would be sweet :D but I'm afraid it's a little beyond my capabilities. Let me know if you do it.

I hear it is not that hard at all... there are a few threads on LGT about it

I've read through some of what needs to be done and it looks like it involves taking apart the back of the Nav unit  and making some connections. I've taken things apart before and the results were less than stellar:o

I can, I can. I'll just bring a little extra 18 gauge. Are you part of the group we'll be meeting with Sat in CT to run to the meet with?
