For the second time in one year I've been rearended :unamused:
This time I wasn't in the car.. It was parked one the street outside my house.
Being the sherlock that I'm not I deducted that my neighbors VW Vanagonel backed out, going the wrong way on a one way and hit my rear bumper and cracking my tail light.

That sucks! Hope you can prove that is was them. That way their insurance can cover it.

sorry man, If he was going to get hit, at least he should have totaled it! hope his ins covers it if you can get him to take the blame.
On a side note, I now have a cordless sawzall. We can 'adjust' his car if you want....

oh I would B in a blind fit of rage right about now..........
... I have a wireless IP cam with motion detecting recording software U may borrow if U like. U MAY be able to see them looking at the crime scene or even doing it again...eventually...
All I ask is U do not become UR own worst witness and accidentially record U bludgeoning them....

....and don't feel bad. When I had my civic, I got rear ended twice in two months. The second time I wasn't in the car either. Luckily I heard it happen before I entered the building I was going in.

I got it back last Thursday :)
Looks really good.
I do have to say that Progressive is CHEAP CHEAP insurance company.
They actually had the body shop remove any part of the bumper that could be reused and reuse it....
So instead of a total new bumper I got a new cover and old trunk plate and fairing :unamused:
Yay!!! now you don't have to park that behemoth of an SUV in front of my house tonight. :lol:

It turns out he left his info in my neighbors mail box on accident.
We spoke for abour ten minutes and found out he's a Marine, gulf war veteran.

ahhh yeah that's the same as the Saturn Outlook that I used to sell. has the engine out of the CTS. the real big thing is its mated to the 6 speed auto tranny, its actually a pretty quiet and comfortable ride if you don't tow and you compare it to a suburban...

I'm just giving you a hard time. The first time I got rear ended they replaced the whole bumper cover. The second time they bodo'd and painted it.
So I know how you feel.
First company was Concord Group. Second was some small insurance company.

The guys over at Portmouth Chevy are REALLY nice and kept me updated even when the progressive guy forgot about me :)
I think I may have them spray the hood and bumper and put a 3M coat on it.
