My dad was so excited when he heard they were going to be bringing back the SHO and was set on buying one... until the $38,000+ price tag. Little too steep for a Ford.

He bought a brand new SHO back in 1998 when it had the 3.4 V8. That was a fun car.

Track was slick as Hell.... I really wish I could have gotten better times but i hit my goals. 15.732 @88.44mph on the first run. Everything just got slick and slippery after that. EVERYONE was slipping... Not a single person i talked to wasn't slipping.
Oh and that STi owner I went to go talk to, he's pretty cool. He's gonna join up. Ended up talking to him for a good hourish before I left and he went for one last pass.

Demetry - I think you were parked next to me ('06 Regal Blue Impreza wagon) as I was leaving. I was so burnt out from work then racing (pun intended!) to the drag strip and freaking myself out running my moms Mustang and getting no traction that I just got in the car and left.

And to whoever tagged me, I'm already a member:) Maybe I should invest in a window decal so those cards can be saved for real potential new members.

I hope a Wednesday or Friday night is freakishly warm before the track closes. I'd go back again if it made the traction better.

Lastly, HOW THE HELL DID I MISS THE GTR?!?!?!

It is. All non VDC 4EATs run a 90/10 split verses the 50/50 of the5mts(usdm) 6 speeds and the higher up JDM 5mts havea rear bias but all depends on year and trim. I picked the 04/05' six speed for the wagon for it's 35/65 front to rear bias. I'd pick a 06/07' six speed for the SVX with a I think it's 40/60 split an cause the rear final drive matches the SVX already.
