WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?
1:06 a.m. — People smoking pot on a Rochester Hill Road back deck are expected to jump off and run if police arrive.
2:09 p.m. — A dead tree trunk has fallen on Four Rod Road. The log is now on the log, also.
9:08 p.m. — At the station a man would like to talk about a very serious matter. Some minutes later he calls 911 from the lobby to say that police are not taking the matter seriously, and notes that he cannot be out after 8:30 p.m.
11:05 a.m. — A pot pipe pops up in a playground at Cold Spring Manor.
3:30 p.m. — — A lady has urinated on Lafayette Street, more in urgency than as a public statement. She is taken into protective custody and later released to a neighbor.

The people are definitely different down in Rochester. Just go to the Rochester Fair and watch what crawls out from beneath the rocks.

got to have some way to justify a low paying secretary's job to your friends and feeling secure about only having a night stick at your side. you have to have some sense of humor.

12:11 a.m. — Over on First Street a light weirdly flickers in a window. A cruiser's dispatched but finds nothing extraordinary.
Homeless people are no longer allowed to sleep in the Globe Mall. This impacts two people. One says he will probably hang out at the Laundromat on Signal Street.
A Kohl's customer reports the theft of her purse from a cart, but video reveals it was the victim's daughter who hid it "so they could shop more." Everything is recovered.
oooh you're so witty!
Near the Common gazebo five fighting females flail fists.
A fox scratches itself all over in a Gear Road yard. Fish and Game is "very busy today" so Rochester will handle the call, and they do shortly after 2 p.m., but fantastic Mr. Fox has vanished.

3:19 a.m. — A man is slumped over in a car on Airport Drive. Not dead, just sleeping.
2:37 p.m. — On Four Road Road some silly asses — donkeys, that is — are running loose.
7:21 p.m. — At Fieldstone Village, youngsters horse around with plastic airsoft pistols. One boy has to go to Frisbie.

These are great but my favorite comes from the Boston Police Twitter page-
http://consumerist.com/2009/05/boston-police-department-we-will-let-you-know-when-the-zombies-come.html
The first surprising part of this story is that the Boston Police (http://consumerist.com/tag/boston-police/) Department has a Twitter feed. (http://twitter.com/boston_police) They use it to post breaking police-type information that's useful to the public, such as roads closed due to car accidents, crime data, big arrests, etc. Sometimes they also reply to reader questions. And that is how TruTV (http://blog.trutv.com/dumb_as_a_blog/2009/05/via-twitter-boston-cops-confirm-that-any-future-zombie-attacks-will-not-be-covered-up-.html) learned that the Boston police will not hide the zombie invasion (http://consumerist.com/tag/zombie-invasion/) from the public. It all started last night with a mundane "injured officer" report:
INJURED OFFICER: Officer from district 4 transported to Beth Israel Hospital, human bite to arm, suspect in custody. Twitter user willcady (http://twitter.com/willcady) used the opportunity to ask the police a burning question:
@Boston_Police (http://twitter.com/Boston_Police) if that was a zombie bite, would you tell us? The police, setting the gold standard for government transparency (http://consumerist.com/tag/government-transparency/), answered him:
@willcady (http://twitter.com/willcady) Yes, absolutely

Kidding. New to the forums. I live in Rochester so I had to check this out. I'm not a Rochester native... the property taxes are just so low that I couldn't help but buy my first home here.

4:11 p.m. — On Sonata Court neighbors argue regarding a little girl driving a tractor down the street.
4:31 p.m. — A gunshot rings out and then a little girl screams. This is near Peaslee Road, not Sonata Court.
:unamused: Rochester is a silly place.
