Just because you live/visit a city doesn't mean you aren't white trash

Please note, this sign read, "Help, my girlfriend has been kidnapped by Ninjas who are demanding ransome. Please help me get her back" - I wish I had gotten the whole thing, but I was on a bus.

Looks like you saw more than I did. I was there a couple of weeks ago but it was pouring out.

Hey Chris!

I'm headed there for a week in October.

I'll be in the Sears (sp?) Tower all week.

Any advice on places to go?

Yep....

1. Get a 4 day pass on one of the double decker tour buses. Takes you to all the major hot spots and you get on and off it as often as you want (navy pier, hancock tower, aquarium, millenium park, etc)

2. Food
- Lou Malnati's for deep dish, the stuff is amazing. You'll probably need a taxi to get there from where you are
- Italian Village for umm, Italian. Al Capone frequented the place back in the day, awesome food.
- Portillos for hot dogs and italian beef - they rank high, but I bet there are smaller places that are better

I think the Italian Village might be the only one that is walking distance for me, thats where the double decker thing or taxi comes in handy.
