nice pixx... I love digital, U Can blast away with the pixx and not really worry about the costs associates with film...

Am I an ass for admitting on a Subaru site I like the animal pixx better than the car one? love the kitty picture and what a BOOTIFUL dawg U have there...the first and third pixx of the dog say it all, check out the character in those eyes...

and no you're not an ass for like pet pics more... Animals are far more interesting to look at then cars IMO

tyvm... pets are so much more interesting. Car are like boats, usually compensating for something... animals are just our reflections.

my wife is due for a new camera soon...keep my updated on what U think of that piggy.

I bought the Canon T1i for Dummies book and it has been AWESOME

Also, do yourself a HUGE Favor... take the lense that come with it and throw it away... You need three lenses and they are the Following:

Canon 18-200mm
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/582444-USA/Canon_2752B002_EF_S_18_200mm_f_3_5_5_6_IS.html

Canon 50MM f1.8 <--- REALLY CHEAP but my favorite lense, and really good for only focusing on 12" depth
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/12142-USA/Canon_2514A002_Normal_EF_50mm_f_1_8.html

Canon 10-22MM UltraWide < I just ordered it and it should be here tomorrow
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/351542-USA/Canon_9518A002_EF_S_10_22mm_f_3_5_4_5_USM.html

I will eventually get a big telephoto lens but i wont need one for a very log time

Oscar - I did about 9 months of research, and spoke with some of my photography friends and the T1i is the best bang for the buck out there, unless you just 5D MarkII full frame body
