so i was driving today on 95S from kennebunkport to portsmouth when this retard in an RX7 decides he has to blow across all 3 lanes, then cut and weave (i can see this in my rearview) then blow by me, only to get blocked on the right, so barrels up my ass so close if i barely tapped the brakes he would have ate my rear end, then blows around me and i'm doing 80 like the rest of the left lane, then proceeds to just get in front of me and pace me trying to get me to race him, just an idiot

Only downside to that kind of thing is the car is so light it gets ariborne really easy.

speaking of getting airborne, the chop coming out of the kennebunk river today was awful cause of the seabreeze blowing in and the current flowing out, made such steep faces in the waves, i managed to entirely launch the yacht club's 13ft whaler i was driving out of the water multiple times. was a ton of fun until i almost flipped the thing right over backwards when a wind puff hit me in mid-air launched off a huge face, that's when i decided to anchor it instead and use the launch lol

I can't do tequila, it makes me fight. I'm a pretty calm and laid back guy as most of you know and have witnessed, but tequila makes me turn bad.

I was on a port call in Curacao in the Caribbean, our first port call for almost 3 weeks. Needless to say with only 2 days in port and wads of cash to spend we all went a little crazy. We were in a bar, probably 20 strong, and were drinking all ****ing day. I hardly remember what, or how much, I had to drink. I know there was tequila in me. Well it's still pretty hazzy but from what I was told was that someone nudged me, a local, and I didn't like it. Then I got up and started yelling at the guy who nudged me, just tearing him a new one. Well he eventually went to say something and punched him square in the face. Well there was probably a good 4 or 5 of his buddies at a nearby table who witnessed it. They got up to come over at me so a bunch of my shipmates got up too. The bar errupted in violence. Even the XO (executive officer for you military types) was in on it. Almost got arrested, but we managed to walk away un-heart. But the CO (Captain) really ripped into us when he heard about it. I remember hearing the XO getting yelled at from 2 decks (floors on a ship) down from where they were.

Almost sounds like a movie, but the ****ing thing is true. Of course it could have been embelished a little number wise, but that's based on what everyone told me, I don't remember even walking to the bar we were at let alone the fight or the walk back.

what i meant was that i was coming around a corner at 4AM this morning when a deer came out of the woods, so i carried away from it through the corner and thought i was good till he cut back..

when i tried to get back up on the pavement cause i had two tires in the shoulder the shoulder drop was too much, ripped the wheel hard, ass end came around, and i went across the road and trenched a ditch for about 30 feet (mostly on the driver side of the car)

didn't roll, but she's done, every body panel is toast, i'll get some pics for you guys at some point, gotta see what the adjuster says, but i'm pretty sure it's going to be totalled

Getting out is for those with college education and can calculate how much more the civilian sector will pay them. 20 year retirement with a police department in NH at 50%, add 2.5% every year after. I can do 30 years and still be 55 years old and be getting 75% pension. Or just the 20 years and pick up another government job and do 20 years with them for another pension. Nothing like receiving overtime pay and detail pay too.

Plus I'm staying in the CG as a reservist probably.

Plus with the government doing all these calculations on how our benifits from being in the military plus our regular pay actually equals out to being more money then we'd receive in the civilian sector is crap (see: Navy Times article). They're going to start taking away benifits and you'll have to select the ones you want and some will cost a couple bucks extra a month if you chose them. Screw that crap.
