Has anyone else seen this movie....creeped me out. Was a little pissed because I had to sit next to a bunch of kiddies and they were screaming and yelling at every semi scary moment. But all in all I liked the movie and it had me creeped out.

i found another thing about her and melanie.
I do recall melanie saying she doesn't do well with horror films :unamused:
but on the other hand

I do have another friend who loves horror films who just so happen to buy a 98 impreza L for a winter beater which happens to be her first suby (maybe if i pester her enough i can get her to come on here) :lol:

i think it follows the same idea as cloverfield where you don't know whats going on exactly and it slowly unfolds itself.
Most of these in the eye's of the camera man style movies generally do that

Katie has been plauged by something she cant explain her whole life. the story is seen through the eyes of the camera that micah bought. camera work is better than cloverfield and blair witch. Micah tries to help his gf find out what is going on with this "thing" that is bothering her in her life. and things just progress as micah gets more involved.

i honestly love the through the hand held camera idea.
Its just too bad blair witch didn't pull it off at all.

I loved cloverfield personally

and i know i'd love this one too.

It adds realism and whats better then making things look real?

Realism is what scares people :devil:

We went to see this after the pancake breakfast and a quick cruise down the coast. I thought it was really good. Others are right to compare it to Cloverfield and Blair Witch. If you don't have any creativity or imagination you'll find it to be hokey, but if you can get engrossed in the movie it's awesome.

The last 15 minutes are beyond intense.

I was thoroughly disappointed with this movie.

I'm VERY open minded and it was just....lame.

The whole intensity and freaking out of the audience was so funny though. One 20 yr old kid had a breakdown/panic attack and the whole police department showed up.

actually alot of people i noticed at the theater i was at were laughing in alot of it.

But in the end i heard nothing but screaming...

So i think that leads me to believe people hearin on how scary it was. Trying to build up confidence and such


Kinda like when you see those stupid Jump scare videos on youtube. and you know whats gonna happen roughly so you try to build up courage to get ready for the jump scare


And also this movie is fiction but they try to put it off as real
