A lot of you know that I was having difficulty pin-pointing an odd noise coming from the front passenger side wheel area. A lot of thought that it was either the strut bottoming out (since I'm running Tein H-techs), or maybe an endlink or maybe even the spring wasn't settled right.

Well after I checked it out myself and still couldn't figure it out I had Exeter Subaru check it out while I was getting an oil change (right now in fact). They figured it out. It's rather simple really. Somehow there is something rattling around inside the wheel, between the tire and the wheel its self.

The tech brought me out there, rotated the wheel in place and you can here something in there rattling around. This isn't good, but at the same time it really won't kill anything. Obviously have it removed ASAP but the worse its going to do right now is scratch up the inside of the tire.

Think during my next string of days off I'll have it taken care of, at the same time have all the tires re-mounted with the interior weights.

It's probably something no bigger then a pebble so I'm not concerned about the wheel ride since I think it has negligible impact if anything.

At least you found the problem. Strange that that is it, however. I dont see how that could have happened. Who mounted them?

Should have gotten them mounted at Murphys Auto in Laconia, NH.....I hear that place really rocks the house. They do great work on Subies, the owners son has one and loves working on them. Let me know if you need some work done, Im pretty good freinds with them ;)
