yes the tranny is done for, and it is pretty easy to tell when your tranny breaks:lol: gears grind and whine on decel. and excel. and when you put it in neutral.:unamused: to much power for the stock tranny, it was only a matter of time:shrug: i just thought it would have lasted longer, oh well.

Even though it already is my favorite OBS, if you put an STI 6 speed in it then it would be my favorite OBS even more :lol:

Yes two of them, one is a better deal and is stronger then stock waiting to hear back from efi to see if it will work:up: the other one is stock outback tranny not the route i want to go but at least the car will be back on the road.:D limited funds :unamused:

painted the grill, fog light covers and took the roof rack rails, and fixed the exhaust on the 98 forester today:D looks and sounds a million times better, also did a tranny flush in the twotone, there was minimal metal shavings on the magnet:up: still wines but not as loud. used mobil 1. 75/90 wieght.

thanks!! yeah stopping power was increased alot. high quality pads, centric rotors, new oem calipers. The brakes that were on it were really old and the pads were worn down past the wear sensor:lol:
