Hey whats up my name is Rich (obv) and i joined this site in search of a good place to talk subies!
I just traded my 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 for a 2010 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Premium (w/ all weather pckg) hatch in Silver. I know, i know, the performance difference is insane, but I needed to get out of that loan and into something cheaper, and so far I am very happy!
I am a part of nemotorsport and have been for almost 2 years, and frequent the manchester NH area a lot in my old car (MS6) and also my 1991 Toyota Celica GT-S, which is my "project" car.
My buddy Joey sent me over here, he's always talking about the meets and everything so I thought I'd join up!
So on to the car...
Well, its not the fastest, but it drives so much better than the mazda ever did. Having a full time AWD system is very nice. Plans for it are, a nice tint, set of rims, and possibly a drop. I already ordered rally armor mud flaps, because, well, whats a subaru w/o them? haha
My other car, is my baby. I've had my 1991 Celica since I was about 14, and its been in the family since the show room floor. It's a limited production color, and probably one of the only ones you will ever see. It got hit in 2004, so I did a full restoration. It hasn't seen a winter since 1997. I have D2 lowering springs, a stage 1 clutch, 4-1 header into a 2.5" Pacesetter Exhaust, advanced timing 7*, custom intake, stereo system, and many many plans. I recently picked up a spare 2.2L 5SFE engine that I will start my turbo build on. I plan on doing forged internals, 3sgte pistons, 3sge head, colt cam regrind, CT20b turbo, FMIC, standalone of somesort (havent read much into it yet), and a whole lot of custom stuff attached to a new S53 transmission. I know someone running a similar setup pushing about 280 to the wheels.
