Northern Vermont Annual Christmas Meet Dec 19th

Alright kinda last minute i know but i thought about it and was like ya know what screw it i am gonna do it

last christmas i did a meet with a bunch of good car friends of mine

some of which on here like

and others. And i thought about how nice that meet was where everyone sat down enjoyed a meal at a restaurant together chat about how lifes going and about cars and just enjoying the night together.

So this is going out to who ever you don't even have to be from vermont. Don't have to own a subaru as i do have friends in all walks of life in the automotive world to make it fair.

Come on up and enjoy a great time during a special time of year with a great bunch of people

ChadSTI I think has planned for a meet at the Burlington Pub and Brewery for the 19th or the 20th... I think maybe we can combine the two meets... I like the Pub location though. so I suggest do something there.

pub's sitting arrangement was small last i went.

I need a place large enough to support atleast what i had last year which was about 15 people

OK so i've come up with a decent idea... Lunch meet wherever, and whoever wants to go to the pub can do it for dinner... I like that idea.
from the VT rides forum... a lot of people will probably wanna be out shopping during the day... so having the meet at IHOP or Applebee's in the Mall might be the best place... I suggest lunch as well... 4ish... so we can support both parties. I can/will attend both as well.
What do you say Tyler? Sound like a good compromise?

I like Chilis. It was awesome last year and they put all the tables together for us. The food and service was great. I guess it would depend on how many people go... iHop kinda sucked in my opinion. We all had to sit separately and couldn't talk across booths that well. I'd like to have one big table or two big tables not 3 or 4 booths etc.

I personally can't make lunch meets on Saturdays I work from 8-1:30 every Saturday.

well don't count it out yet. I am still waiting on more responses.

I as you know let this known on the other auto site we both are on. and gotten some interesting suggestions on there too.

The big thing is not necessarily the location. I mean i personally didn't like the food at the pub last time i went but i am all down for going again if everyone else wants to.

But i wanna make sure as melanie stated is everyone is together hanging out chatting with each other and such.
I want it convenient for everyone too.
Parking at say chilli's while may be kinda a ***** if you want close to the door parking (we'll probably have to invade a different parking lot to park if we were to choose that) but still not far away where you'll hate yourself for walking in the snow and cold to get to your destination.
While down town during this time of the year as we all know with such busy business going on... getting a substantial amount of cars parked atleast near by each other let alone with each other is quite a hassle. unless we do a parking garage which while its not necessarily expensive. It still is kinda a pain (well that is unless your only at the meet for 2 hours or less which its free). Just trying to keep that in mind as a obstacle.

Ultimately I have no problem eating at Chili's... however I think I'm going to want to mainly drink at the pub later. i'm sure i'll hate walk'n there, but i'll enjoy leave'n there... Specially if I got a dd. ;)
I think my gf will be the dd for me.

that sounds like Burlington Subaru. i think i found out why mine doesn't start sometimes. but that's a story for the 19th. its awesome i got a tons of car people coming to vtpb. Theirs just one cummins coming its lifted like a foot, has 38 inch tires and runs 1/4 miles faster then my sti

yea went around the local mall shopping and walking around

then went and saw No_boost (seth)'s new house which is why you guys haven't heard a word from him lately as he is busy moving in and fixing up spots of his new house
