So far, I can get discounted full day tix to Gunstock, and Waterville (I think) I'm pretty sure I can get full days for $40 or $50, don't quote me on that just yet though.

Loon is def a hike from Southern NH (although I LOVE Loon) & tix are $73 full day, and $63 starting at noon. I'm broke till the 17th so I can't make it to opening day but if we plan a meet enough ahead of time I'll be able to make it up there another time

I am a big time skier. My persoanl favorite mountain in NH is Cannon. Most traditional of all mountains IMO and the tram and trees add something that no other location can offer.

I say we should do a Jay Peak trip this year...just thowing it out there.

Is this for you or others as well? If so I may have to take you up on that offer sometime. Gunstock/WV are not my favorite but it works. I don't think I would ever pay $75 to ski at Loon. Ive skied too much in my life to justify that expense with the lines they have and so-so terrain at best. If you ride park though, Loon is the place to be in NH.

Gunstock got a foot of snow yesterday AND they spent like 1.8 mil upgrading their snowmaking system. If they don't open this weekend it's the most epic fail EVER

i decided to go to bretton woods instead of loon cuz loon was gonna bend me over with their price and not even use ky LOL

it was amazing for pre-season! 2' of powder on half the trails and it was snowing all day. it was ****ING NASTY! i could not have asked for a better day to start my season!!!!!!!!!
