Cruise Control Question

I'm planning a 800 mile trip and I'd really like to reconnect my cruise control... I'm working with ECUTEC does anyone know if I can even have cruise control with this ECU and if so how do I reconnect it?

How is it not connected? Unplugged or does utec take cruise control away?

Cruise control should be working if it's a seperate modual like on older models. But if your car is throttle by wire(electronic stepper motor actuating the throttle body rather than a cable) it would be part of the ECU's control. I thought they only switched on the 07'+'s but I'm sure someone can chime in on that. If it is then it's just a matter of emailing ECUTEK and asking if it's built into the standalone. Hopefully it was a plug-n-play ECU just to take one more piece out of the equation.

I think it was disconnected when installing the map selector

iirc, the 06 sti still has the fly by wire. controlled by the ECU.
