Just curious...the man in the wide brimmed hat told me it was 25 mph, but my driving has led me to only the 35 mph signs leading up to the circle from all directions. Is there some unposted, 'written' guidance on this...need to get out that darn driving manual again...

I know leaving the circle and heading towards the mall or dover past seacoast tickets(on the right) is 25 mph... so i think if you were heading back towards the circle and the speed reduces it would be the same 25 mph... Did you get pulled over today?

Yesterday morning going south from Dover. I took the 90 bend to go to the interstate. All I have seen is the 35 after the left bend to the circle. No ticket, just wanted me to tell him I knew my speed was excessive...? I usually downshift on the bend and let it ride down the bridge to the 35-40 mph area and just take the turn to the interstate then catch third and merge to the on ramp. He didnt have a speed and I think by the way he came across the back of my car, he was cutting down to get on 95N and my being there may have surprised him some. I have never seen a 25 mph sign out there...will have to look again. The quote of the day...'it appears your speed was a little excessive entering the circle...'

I drive around the circle as fast as I can. Often exiting it at 60ish.

I'm 90% sure all traffic circles in the NH area are 25mph. I say 90% because I can't seem to find where I read it. I was almost certain it was in an RSA somewhere but alas I can not find it. Seems like the officer was pretty nice. Tack this one up as an FYI for future reference at least in regards to that traffic circle.

I'm still going to research it, perhaps Rotary is a better term for me to search rather then traffic circle.

Yeah, he was not PDing on me. I think my second down shift and subsequent reduction in speed led to the interesting closing rate. I didnt brake with the down shift and hadnt seen his dive. I am looking in the driving manual when I get home. There is some crazy crap in there...

Actually read the nh drivers manual...no word of circle speed. A lot of other interesting things in there that make a lot of sense of the blinky light craziness that ive seen since I got here. No circle speed! Still looking... Law enforcenment should know laws, not opinions...

There shound not be a limit in traffic circles. That way you can use it like a skidpad.
