Without rubbing at all??

Car: 2006 wrx sedan Limited

I can pick up a set of 4 Yokohama Advan A13C off my best friend for $400.00. The tires have about 300 to 400 miles on them so they are slmoast in new condition. These tires go for $1364.00 shipped from tires rack. So at $400.00 they are a steal!!!! For my suspension I am on Tanabe GF 210's, 1.0 front and 0.5 rear. I was looking at some gold rota's in 18 x 8 but need help with some of you wheel guru's and let me know what offset you recomend and if it's possible to run these without rubbing issues. I'm not a fan of pulling or stretch fenders. Let me know what you guys think because this is a real hard deal to pass up. Here's the tires below :)

Depends on offset and how much you want to roll the fenders. If you don't buy them I'll take them! I toasted yet another set of summer tires. I've been running that spec since spring till I got my snows on the SVX.

Yeah that was my question in the orginal post. What should my offset be with a 18 x 8 and running these 245-40-18 and have the best chance to run these without rubing. Also not really interested in rolling fenders unless it's just a tad bit so I'm looking for wheel and tire guru's to step in on this one :)

Rolling isneeded period. Talk to RobK0000 and Midnightrush. They both rolled bigtime. Offset won't save you I'm very sure. Think about a 48-52 though. Remember you have to clear the struts too.

With 245's I'd look toward a 48 offset. How did they figure that rolling isnt needed? (out of curiosity)

Thanks, I hope they dsee this thread and give there .02 on what offsets and such that I should run :)

I tried on my buddies 18 x 8 with 235/40/18 and I was not rubign at all. I'm not sure what his offset was thoguh. I'm not sure how much more the extra 10mm is going to cause to rub. I'd like to think with the right offset would make up for the extra 10mm on the width of the tire and rolling would not have to be done.
