GI: Camping at Gunstock

I went camping at gunstock a few weekends ago and I had a great time.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in going one weekend in August?

There is nothing better than a campfire, cold beer and good friends.~ok~


Also,

they have:

1. Stocked fishing ponds
2. Horse back Riding
3. Skate park
4. Mountain bike rentals
5. Kayak and paddle boat rentals
6. Hot showers
7. Chair lift brings you to the top of the mountain that has a stocked bar.
8. Full bar (yes!!!)
9. miles of hiking/biking trails.
10. Minutes from Weirs beach and other attractions (boat/jetski rentals)


I know a few of us have tents. I have 2, at a minimum. plus grills and fire wood.

4 adults per site, $27 a night = $13.50 for you to camp for 2 nights ~bounce~

Also - next year we should consider going canoeing the Saco.. I go every year - rent the canoe - camp randomly along the river, get picked up and brought back to your car. Basically just drink and relax the entire time. Unfortunetly fills up quickly, so we'd probably have to wait to next year or late in August. Friends of mine tried to book this weekend a month back and they were full, atleast the company they used.

That's my Birfday weekend...

are you booked the whole weekend? I'm sure not everyone will come up for the entire 2 days.

Funny thing is, I live like 20 minutes from gunstock...we could just camp out in my woods for free
