I just about crashed into a ditch seeing 87 octane for $2.67/gal at the Durham Irving and Gibbs. Haven't seen it that cheap in months. Of course, it only makes about $3 of difference on a full tank, but I'll take it.

93 octane is $2.97. Head over and fill up.

The Exxon (and one after it, not sure what it is) on Route 1 heading into Maine always seems to be the cheapest in Portsmouth.

i paid 2.74 last night for 87 at Sams club in concord. Still Rapage, after it hits 1.99 then i will consider resonable.

99.5 cents a litre in ontario, we filled up our boat 3 times total to around $200!

****ING CRAZY, btw: canada is no longer an affordable vacation area as the doallar is not worth much there anymore

Indeed, and none of us are anywhere near that kind of economy. I've done one 400 mile tank in six years, but the fillup was over 14 gal.

Actually it's just that our dollar is close to even with theirs. IIRC in 2001 the loonie was ~$0.62, now it's ~$0.95. Ouch! I'll be in Montreal this weekend putting my loonies on the railings. :)

Not sure how unless you're driving a flat 50mph everywhere, but we'll take your word for it.

My long term average is about 24.5 mpg. And no turbos here.

Your car is just a freak in the sheets, methinks. I just covered 29mpg highway with commuting to work... 90+ degrees by day, A/C on trip home, bad front axle, and ****e truck tires. You need cruise.:)
