As the title states...Up for sale is a 1991 Legacy SS 5MT in Rio Red. Which apparently is a very rare combination when matched with the 5 speed. Car has 209,000 miles and has Rust holes on both rear 1/4's... But very easily fixable. Car has a Saab TMIC on it and has recently had a full tune up done (within the last 200 miles). Parts that were installed were new NGK plugs (platinums), New Plug wires, New Wix fuel filter, Oil was changed with a Wix oil filter and Castrol GTX oil.

The paint is not the greatest but i can mix up some Rio Red at my work for a really good price if buyer wants to repaint it. The previous owner painted the hood and trunk lid with a flat black... The Hood's black paint is flaking off due to lack of prepping before painting. The trunk looks pretty decent and not chipping or flaking.

I installed a WRX shifter linkage to eliminate the slop in shifting...so you dont punch the dash everytime you shift into 1st...3rd...or 5th:lol:. It shifts really good and runs and drives good. It does need Valve cover gaskets done but thats really inexpesive to do. It does need new pads and rotors all around but can be had through me for around $150 bucks. The rear rotors are vented and not solid so they are a lil more expensive.
I did have a left front axle installed around the same time the tune up was done.
Car will come with a Stock front bumper (color matched) and a wingless trunk lid and sideskirts! (<---all off the car.) I also have a box of spare parts that will go with the car. Starter/alternator and misc. parts. Also has Custom 2 1/2" exhaust on it! Sounds really good! Awesome Boxer rumble to it!

Price Car W/ Snowflakes on it will be $2000. OBO
I can also throw in some stock 04 WRX struts with Tein S Tech lowering springs installed on them for an extra $125.
ALSO WILL TRADE FOR OLDER IMPREZA...
Pics.
Drivers seat has a little tear in it...other than that the interior is pretty clean.
And Go!!

If you've never heard of Danny Trejo, trust us, you've seen him. The L.A.-born actor has had a prolific career -- including a stint as the star of the fake trailer for "Machete" in the campy movie "Grindhouse" four years ago. But you can catch him in many action flicks, from "Con Air" to "Predators" to "Spy Kids."
The spoof "Machete" trailer led to the full-length movie with Trejo at the lead. This would not seem the obvious path for a drug-addicted kid in and out of jail for 11 years. Sent to San Quentin for drug offenses and armed robbery, Trejo turned to boxing and a 12-step program, which began his turnaround.

I have a REPLICA 2004-2007 STi wing. It will fit 2002-2007 like a glooooveee.
It's white, but needs paint. (chipping off) it does not have the slots for the wing diffusers, but it is a 2 piece like OEM. LED brake light. Bolt holes match OEM STi.

STi Wing --- $100 obo

I also have a pair of bugeye tail lights for the 2002-2003 body. I had these tinted last winter, but have since taken them off. Currently running 2004-2005 lights, so they are just taking space.

Bugeye Lights --- $50 obo

I have an OEM WRB STi trunk (drilled for wing, debadged, except for Pedobear) Don't really want to sell this until I drill my WRX trunk for my STi wing (reference the holes) but that is this weekend so no worries. It's in good shape, but its a N.E. trunk, so some surface rust under the lip of where the wing was. Easy cosmetic fix.

STi Trunk --- $120 obo

WELL...........

It was fantastic :D

As some of you may or may not know, i just go out of my 09 WRX for a FXT. I worked with Jim Sherman at Belknap. We spent the last month scouring the internet, forums, and dealers for just the right FXT for me. I sent Jim no less then 15 leads all over the country that he would diligently track down, only to find they had sold in a matter of hours. I finally found one hiding in northern ME, we secured a deal, got the car there and I stopped in today to pick it up. Unfortunately, we ran into a snag with some ME/NH inspection issues. Jim took care of it all, and got me out of there inspected, and ready for the road. Jim will be seeing all of my business in the future(though not the near future) and i want to recommend them to anyone looking for a Subaru, new or used.

Thanks again Jim!

GRAND ISLE, La. – An offshore oil rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico on Thursday, west of the site of the April blast that caused the massive oil spill.
A commercial helicopter company reported the blast around 9:30 a.m. CDT Thursday, Coast Guard Petty Officer Casey Ranel said. Seven helicopters, two airplanes and four boats were en route to the site, about 80 miles south of Vermilion Bay along the central Louisiana coast.
The Coast Guard said initial reports indicated all 13 crew members from the rig were in the water. One was injured, but there were no deaths.
The platform owned by Mariner Energy is in about 2,500 feet of water, the Coast Guard said, and was not currently producing.
About 206 million gallons of oil from an undersea well spilled into the Gulf after BP's Deepwater Horizon rig exploded April 20, killing 11 workers.

LONDON – The opaque visor of one of Britain's most famous helmets has been lifted.
The identity of The Stig, the always-anonymous test driver on the popular television show "Top Gear," has long been a closely guarded secret. On Wednesday, lawyers said the BBC had been refused an injunction blocking publication of a book revealing the identity of the character.
Shortly after, publishers HarperCollins said in a statement that a 33-year-old racing driver named Ben Collins "has a great story to tell about his seven years as The Stig, which will appeal to a wide audience beyond just motoring enthusiasts."
Calling it a "victory for freedom of speech," HarperCollins said the book will be published in Britain on Sept. 16.
The white-suited Stig is the second in the role; the first Stig, who wore a black suit and helmet, was Perry McCarthy. He left the show in 2003 after his identity was revealed.
The show has a long-standing policy of not commenting on The Stig's identity. A "Top Gear" spokeswoman said no decision has been made on whether the character will be back when the show returns.
"Top Gear" is one of the BBC's most successful programs, and is seen in more than 100 countries around the world. Alongside the show's three garrulous hosts, The Stig is an always-silent presence, fearlessly navigating the show's test track in glamorous cars.
Speculation over his identity is a favorite pastime for fans of the show, and the "Top Gear" website sells T-shirts proclaiming "I am The Stig," "I am not The Stig," and "I am The Stig's fat cousin," among others.
"The whole point of The Stig is the mystique — the bizarre characteristics he has, the wonderment created about what he might think, feel, do or look like," producer Andy Wilman said in a post on the show's website. "Kids adore the conceit, and I believe adults, although they know it's a man in a suit (or is it?) gladly buy into the whole conceit because they find it entertaining."
The Stig's Facebook page — which more than 2.5 million people "like" — says he was recently attacked by a goose, that his ears "are not where you would expect them to be," and that he thinks the movie "Star Wars" is a documentary.
The BBC said it sought the injunction — the hearing was held in private — because viewers like the mystery surrounding the driver's identity and it's "vital to protect the character of The Stig."
The broadcaster said that the judgment does not prevent them from taking the issue further in the courts.
'The BBC will not be deterred from protecting such information from attack no matter when or by whom it should arise," the broadcaster said in a statement.
Collins' website says he has raced on the Formula Three and NASCAR circuits, and drove James Bond's Aston Martin in the 2008 film "Quantum of Solace."

Hey everyone! I was approached by a dude in the Home Depot parking lot today in Londonderry, saying he was a member here. I think his name was Mark. Drove a sick black LGT w/ yakima roof racks.

Anyway, the names Brad, and I'm currently driving a 92 SVX LS-L. It's got the 4.44 tranny swap out of a 99 2.5RS, Quick Change shift kit, 'custom' exhaust, aka jimmie rigged horribly done exhaust from the previous owner, and a couple other things. Nothing really to write home about, but it gets me around. I owned an 02 WRX that had a bunch of STi stuff done to it in the past, but dumbly traded it in for an 05 GTI after shredding 2nd gear, and rebuilding the entire thing.

Anyway, figured I'd pop in and say what's up.. I'll post some pictures tomorrow!
